Home!

So, we're home! And it really is wonderful to be here. To have our little boy at home with us, is just a dream come true. I can't quit smiling. And little J.C. is doing well. He's eating like a pro and poopin like one too! We have a Dr.s apt tomorrow at 2 so we'll just make sure that little guy is doing as well as I think he is!

Last night, our first at home, we discovered that those awesome nipple ready bottles from the hospital don't come with the nipples...the only ones the dude really likes, HATES the playtex nurser, all styles I might add, and the Nuby Variable flow is not working as well as I'd like and making the little pal frustrated, so I must see what I can do about "loosening" them or figure out where to get the little disposable ones he loved so much. I just love being a mom, who knew you could write a whole post about bottles! Might have to bite the bullet and Try Dr Browns!

Hooray! I'm so glad you are home and loving mommy hood! I swear by the Dr. Brown's. Nora is pretty gassy even with those bottles but they reduce so much of the extra gas. We really like them.

I love to hear the happiness in your words...so glad you are home safely and enjoying your little man!! You might try Avent...I've heard some people say they have success with those when others don't work. Again though, it is an expense! I don't know where you can buy the disposable nipples, but the hospital in your area might be willing to give you some if you call and ask. Talk to your doctor tomorrow and see what they say. My hunch is that he will get used to a new type before much longer, it just might be a slight transition for him.

Hugs,

Melba

Oh, yes, those bottles are the best! Always ready to feed! They gave us some nipples at the hospital. They didn't give you any??? M absolutely loved them. When she was born, we had to stay out of state with her for almost 2 weeks and, it was a scavenger hunt, but we found the nipples at Walgreens. The system was convenient, since we were away from home, but we knew it would be very expensive on the long run. We then changed to Dr. Brown's and she loves those as well. Can't complain. I truly recommend them. I still have some of the disposable nipples for the ready bottles left... Do you want them?
